Who we are

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulates more than 100,000 solicitors in England and Wales, as well as registered European lawyers and registered foreign lawers.

Established in January 2007, we are the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Changes to rule 2 of the Code of Conduct

Changes to rule 2.05 of the Solicitors' Code of Conduct 2007 will come into force on 1 March 2010.
