Recently intervened firms

Use Solicitor check to search for firms and practices that the SRA has closed down during the past three years.

If you know the name (or SRA ID number) of the intervened firm or practice

  • Go to www.sra.org.uk/solicitor-check.
  • Enter the name or SRA ID of the intervened firm (or the name or SRA ID of the individual solicitor whose practice was closed down).
  • The search results will include a link to the record of the SRA's decision to intervene. Click on the link.
  • Details of our intervention agent are included in the information displayed.
  • Contact the intervention agent for help if the intervention took place within the last six months. Otherwise, contact us.
