The website 'www.whitepartnersukllp.com' is operating claiming to be a law firm.
What is the scam?
The website 'www.whitepartnersukllp.com' is operating falsely claiming to be a law firm called 'White & Partners LLP'.
The websites provide an address of 'King's House 36-37 King St London EC2V 8BB' and an email address of 'info@whitepartnersukllp.com'.
The SRA has been informed that a member of the public has received a letter from an individual called 'Edward White' claiming to be a partner in 'White & Partners LLP' in relation to a supposed unclaimed 'permanent life insurance policy' of a client with the same surname as the recipient.
The letter provides the above contact details as well as email address of 'whitelawyerspart@gmail.com' and a telephone number of '+44 749 838 9439'.
The SRA does not authorise and regulate a firm of solicitors called 'White & Partners LLP'.
Any business or transaction through a firm called 'White & Partners LLP' or any of the contact details above are not undertaken by a solicitors' practice or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates several genuine solicitors called Edward White.
It is believed none of the genuine Edward White have any connection to the above alert.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (eg. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.

The SRA has been informed that a further similar letter has been sent from an individual called 'Edward White' from 'White & Partners LLP', in relation to a supposed unclaimed 'permanent life insurance policy' of a client with the same surname as the recipient.
This letter provides an email address of 'whitepartnersllp@gmail.com' and provides the same false telephone and address as above.
Any business or transactions through the email address 'whitepartnersllp@gmail.com' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
