The website 'www.lawlights.co.uk' is operating misusing the name of Lawlight Solicitors Limited.

What is the scam?

The SRA has been informed that a website at 'www.lawlights.co.uk' is operating misusing the name of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).

The website appears to have cloned the genuine firm’s website. The website uses a contact number +44 7300 341313 and email addresses ending in @lawlights.co.uk. It is understood the website also misuses the genuine firm's address (see below) 

Any business or transactions through the website 'www.lawlights.co.uk' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Lawlight Solicitors Limited. The genuine firm's website is www.lawlight.co.uk. The firm’s genuine postal address is 28 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4ND and the genuine firm contact number is 0117 403 8700.

Lawlight Solicitors Limited have confirmed they have no connection to the website referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?
