Ian Duncan Henery is a solicitor. He is currently an owner, manager, head of legal practice and money laundering reporting officer at Ian Henery Solicitors Ltd whose head office is at Quickjay Buildings Bilston Street Willenhall West Midlands WV13 2AW.

It was found that:

Between 18 November 2019 and 14 December 2019, Mr Henery made comments to a relative of Mr Henery’s client which were offensive and/or pejorative relating to another person’s religion. In doing so Mr Henery breached:

• Principle 2 of the SRA Principles 2011 (pre 25 November 2019) and Principle 5 (2019) (after 25 November 2019);
• Principle 6 of the SRA Principles 2011 (pre 25 November 2019) and Principle 2 (2019) (after 25 November 2019); and
• Failed to achieve Outcome 2.2 of the SRA Code of Conduct 2011.
