This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.  This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor.  The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which relate to a matter Ms Kaleem was handling in respect of a loan agreement in which she signed an inaccurate declaration confirming investor funds were held in the firm’s client account, which she knew was incorrect and she knew would be relied upon to enter into a loan agreement. It is alleged she signed the declaration knowing its contents were untrue, which was misleading to the third-party loan provider. 

The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
